These two entities work together within the assessment project EVALXPACT, with the public support of ACC1Ó innovation agency.

The valorization project EVALXPCAT (Evaluation of the Scientific and Technological Parks Network of Catalonia), aimed at checking and assessing the knowledge stock of the technological parks included in XPCAT, has just finished this month. KIMbcn, as an expert entity in technology transfer, has worked together with XPCAT to identify and assess 15 technologies with the objective of knowing its potential and address them to the market.

Different technological developments of parks, such as Parc Científic i Tecnològic Agroalimentari de Lleida, Parc Científic i Tecnològic Barcelona Nord, Parc UPC, La Salle Technova Barcelona, Tecno Campus Mataró – Maresme and Parc Tecnològic del Vallès, have been analyzed in order to accelerate its transfer to the market.

KIMbcn and XPCAT cooperate continuously in different activities to promote technology transfer to bring the technologies developed at the knowledge creator centers to the business sector and, consequently, to the society.

In this sense, both entities are working within the project VALUEPARC, which wants to accelerate the arrival to the market of six technologies evaluated last year. They will do it through commercialization strategies and approaches to the market.
